The Ice Skating Rink in Curry Village opened on November 22, 2024 and will stay open through March 5, 2025 (Conditions permitting).  The Badger Pass Ski Area remains closed due to poor snow conditions.  Call (209) 372-1000 for updated slope conditions and the number of operating ski lifts.

ALERT 1: FEBRUARY 2025 ENTRANCE RESERVATIONS REQUIRED ON THREE WEEKENDS: The international popularity of a backlit and glowing Horsetail Fall during 2-3 weeks in February and the congestion it produces has caused the National Park Service to require reservations to enter the Park for three weekends in February (Sat., & Sun. & one Monday).  They are:

February 8-9, February 15-17, and February 22-24, 2025

​

Reservations are required of all visitors who do not have lodging reservations regardless of whether you intend to view Horsetail Fall.

ALERT 2: SUMMER 2025 ENTRANCE RESERVATIONS REQUIRED ON WEEKENDS: A reservation will be required to drive into or through Yosemite on some days from April 13 through October 27, 2025 as follows:

April 13 through June 30: A reservation is required from 5 am to 4 pm on Saturdays, Sundays, and on holidays (May 27 and June 19).

​

July 1 through August 16: A reservation is required from 5 am to 4 pm every day.

​

August 17 through October 27: A reservation is required from 5 am to 4 pm on Saturdays, Sundays, and holidays (September 2 and October 14).
